Here are a few guidelines in determining tent
size:
Seated event with tables: Allow 10 sq. ft per person
Example: 135 people you'd need a 1350 sq ft tent which is a 30x45
and 240 people would be 2400 sq ft which is a 40x60
If your just seating guests (no tables) then the number of people
you can fit will double.
*Allow 36" between rows of chairs if your sitting theater style
*Round or Rectangle table seating: Allow 60" between tables
* 8-9 people fit around a 5ft round table
*6-8 people fit around a 6ft rectangle table
* 8-10 people fit around a 8ft rectangle table
Pole tents have poles under them which is what keeps the tent up.
Tent size determines # of poles.
Frame tents have no poles since the frame itself keeps the tent
up
